Official YouTube API integration

Creator-controlled YouTube publishing and measurement.

Novas uses Google OAuth, YouTube Data API v3, and YouTube Analytics API only. It does not scrape YouTube, automate a browser, store Google session cookies, or use unofficial endpoints.

What the connection is for

A narrow purpose for every provider permission.

Owner-authorised channel

Google OAuth identifies and displays the exact owner-managed channel before any upload action.

Confirmed video uploads

Channel, media, metadata, visibility, audience, disclosures, and notifications remain visible and editable.

Historical analytics

Channel and video observations are stored as raw, timestamped provider snapshots.

Permissions and formats

Only what the product needs. Nothing hidden in the background.

youtube.readonly
youtube.force-ssl
yt-analytics.readonly

Supported product formats

Long-form videoShort-form video

Safeguards that stay visible

  • Public and unlisted visibility remain unavailable until written approval.
  • Scheduling uses an idempotent Novas job and sends nothing before the chosen time.
  • Processing is checked through the official API and never completed early.
  • Remote deletion is a separate confirmation that preserves the local draft.

Google tokens never reach the browser

Access and refresh tokens use authenticated server-side encryption. Novas stores only the channel identity, granted scopes, publishing evidence, provider state, and analytics needed for the requested feature.

A clear revocation path

Disconnect revokes the Google grant and removes YouTube-derived identifiers, snapshots, and pending jobs while retaining owner-authored local content.

Revoke Google access

Your content stays yours.

Create a verified account, then connect only the profiles you own and choose to manage with Novas.
